Works great! I typically only use it for cat fish if I’m using shrimp, but I’ve also used it for bass and other fish. I haven’t dropped one yet!Easy to use even on kayak for 2-3lb Catfish, 3-5 Carp and large mouth Bass. Just make sure you put a leash on it so you don’t lose it overboard.Pros: Grips just like it’s supposed to and it also makes it easy to release the fish on a kayak without getting your hands all slimy. The handle makes it easy to release one handed even when wet or sweaty. The wrist lanyard has saved the grippers more than once from falling the water. So far no rust but I do rinse everything off with fresh water and Oil all moving parts.Cons: The scale is wildly inaccurate. I even tested it out with various workout weights that I have and it’s not even close. So don’t rely on it or get a scale to attach to it like I did. Is it worth it yes I think so. As for using for larger than 5lbs that remains to be seen. This is a must have tool from now on! Works like a champ!Well MadeNot sure about accuracy of scale but very durable and not expensive!Everything is great about this, but as soon as the fish starts to shake and move around, sometimes the fish falls off.FishingI bought the CRAZY SHARK to lift and carry catfish, and they work great.Love these,,, so easy to use, will not damage the mouths of the fish unless used improperly, you can barely feel the pressure on you finger as I wanted to test it was not going to damage the fish,, I have caught couple of pike and the clamps where we'll clear of their teeth so you know their is no damage being done,, they did not thrash and feel it is a better tool than sticking fingers in the gills , to help with managing the fish whilst unhooking. You should always use a net with landing a fish as they are used to having their body mass supported by water,, but I highly rate these as a part of my pike fishing kit, built to last.Good value but not for big fish and fish like Tigers , you don’t want your hand too near their mouth! I use from a boat for Jack pike or to hold a sea fish while taking hook out. Does this job wellHaven’t had a chance to use it yet, but it looks like it should work fine. Did test the scale though, I measured 1lb on an item confirmed to be 3lb15oz on two different digital scales. Quality seems to be ok and the lanyard is a good addition. Will update soon as I will be fishing by the weekend !Haven’t even used it yet and the strap attachment fell off while I was carrying it. Built quality is okay but instead of a weigh scale, a gimmick I really don’t need, would rather they paid more attention to just a product that works as well as intended. Wouldn’t cost anything more either. All I wanted was a small grabber to attach to my lanyard.Gute verarbeitet und erfüllt seinen Zweck.ABER... Die Spannfeder ist zu stark. So das man viel Kraft braucht um die Zange zu öffnen. Gestaltet sich etwas schwieriger wenn der Zander dabei noch zappelt.
