From just opening the package, I was hoping for a similar product to something I bought from a chain store sometime ago but they were unable to restock this item for a long while.But instead, the glove is very thin, with not much rubberized material as well as the cloth portion.Slicing protection is there, but I would be not willing to risk it with the fish spines or gill rakers and teeth.Basic product if all you need is to hold the fish.
