I am really happy with the rocks. They look great in my aquarium. They are not cheap fake looking, they look like real rocks. However I do not feel as if they are worth the price of $115. Not even close .Packaging came very secure in a box. Each piece had its own little space. These rocks are light weight but still very detailed and beautiful! Perfect size, glad I ordered the 11 pieces instead of the 7! Cant wait to put it into my fish tank.Update: set up my fish tankThis product is realistic. Looks amazing. A bit pricy but the best fake rock I have seen at any aquarium store.I was skeptical that it would look like plastic. Was i ever wrong. Looks like real rock, exactly as advertised and packaged very well. I liked it so much I bought another set.Pros:- No Guesswork: my biggest issue with purchasing rocks for aquarium/vivarium decor has always been worrying about getting unattractive dud rocks or having to pay top dollar for a "showpiece" rock. Well, here you get exactly the rocks you see thanks to resin casting which is a huge plus- Light Weight: This is a huge pro for me. These rocks would add a ton of unnecessary weight to a display and strain the stand if they were actual rock. Being lightweight also makes them easier to work with- Overall Aesthetic: for the most part, these are just plain good looking fake sieryu rocksCons:- Price: This one is a double edged sword. Being resin the actual cost to ship/manufacture is quite low comparatively (lots of profit/markup), however as stated in the pro, you could save money if you choose these over the guesswork or showpiece rock- Holes: These rocks have approximately 1/4in holes. I'm assuming these are in part due to the casting process and in part so that they sink, but this can pose an issue for shrimp or other small critters that can enter these holes- Matching: the colors should be designed to be somewhat random, but I found some rocks were so different in color that they didn't fit well side-by-sideVerdict: overall, I'm mostly satisfied. I used these stones in a palladarium build with some above and some below the water line, and not really as shown in the recommended scale. However, my final build with these rocks is very impressive. I did not use all the stones, but will probably use the leftover in another scape. If you can live with the cons, I would recommend you give these a try. 4/5I actually bought these on a whim after spending hours looking at real rocks, particularly the WYSIWYG sections on a dozen aquarium supply sites. What ended up swaying me was that the whole kit had good looking pieces, versus the real rock kits I was looking at, which would have a few show pieces and then a bunch that weren’t all that, but I still had to buy because it was a kit.I ended up ordering the 11 piece, and I’m glad I did because the variety was great! Especially since I was still working out hardscape ideas. I end up only using 7 pieces because I’m also planting heavy and incorporating wood. I’m happy I’ll have the other pieces for future tanks or for scape changing. They are extremely light! Much lighter than I anticipated. I was initially worried about them not wanting to stay put once water hit the tank, but that hasn’t been an issue at all. I have a busy Pictus cat that likes to root around, and he hasn't disturbed the smaller ones. All and all, I was very impressed and very happy with my purchase. I would be interested in other rock styles in this resin format, because they are much easier to work with than traditional rock, and much easier on the tank and stand to support.I know some people were balking at the price, but considering that you know what you are getting, that more than makes up for it. I also consider my time to be very valuable so this solved a lot of my problems.Impressed with size color and realistic quality. I bought real stones and mixed them. It was challenging to find real rock of the right sizes and shapes. This set did the work for me. Offering a great size and shape selection to fill a 45 gal, rimless tank.Worth it for me, i would recommend it
